This adventure is ideal for those short on time but who want to see a variety of wildlife and forest.
Day 1: you will spend the morning hiking in Matapalo where you are likely to see wildlife such as four different types of monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, and toucans. You will also see the beautiful Matapalo waterfall and visit the beaches.
After lunch you will continue your discovery of the Osa as you travel to Playa Carate.
This tour also includes a night hike around Carate/ La Leona.
Day 2: You will head into the Corcovado national park and spend the full day hiking.
Animals you will likely encounter include anteaters, coatis, agoutis, monkeys, and more. At the end of the day you will hike back to Playa Carate and from there you will return to Puerto Jimenez.
