This tour is a great option for those who want to explore the forest of Corcovado but do not have time to stay overnight.

From Puerto Jimenez you will depart at 5: 30 am and go to Carate, where you will begin your hike. After 3.5 km, you will arrive at La Leona Ranger Station and enter the secondary forest of Corcovado National Park. You are most likely to see four different types of monkeys, toucans, macaws, agoutis, coatis, anteaters, sloths, and different species of birds. After spending the day viewing the flora, fauna and pristine beaches of Corcovado, you will return to Puerto Jimenez, arriving around 5: 00 pm.
